Learn the unique history of our island and soak in the culture by walking through the streets of the first city in the Dominican Republic called “Zona Colonial”. You will visit many of the significant monuments and museums such as The Cathedral, which was the first one built in the Americas. The tour also includes the nearby park “Los Tres Ojos”. The highlight of the park is the wonderful cave system that offers glimpses of pre-colonial days and the ancestral origins of the Dominican Republic. Lunch with our typical Caribbean Food is also included in the tour. A wonderful way to spend your day engaging with culture outside of the beach and hotel zones.

Approximate Itinerary: 10:00 Arrival in Santo Domingo, begin the visit to the monuments. 13:00 Lunch in a Zona Colonial restaurant featuring typical Caribbean food. 14:30 Tour resumes, leaving for the last visit to Los Tres Ojos 16:30 Begin the return drive 18:30 Arrive back to Hotel
